Originally posted by RopeDrink:Aye - that was the point that stopped me being confident/curious and went for the kill. Even on low difficulty runs, he can crit up to nearly 30 damage (which includes a bleed chance), so that can easily result in DDoor or potential kills on its own.Ĭollector can also life-steal by himself (not entirely Vestel reliant), so don't let him fart around for too long on his own as he doesn't need to be healed by Vestel to prolong the fight. Aside from AoE stress, the only concern you should have is HWM-Heads. It's not like your typical skeleton who's practically bleed immune, so either dank him from range, bleed him up between managing the heads, or just stun/manage him. In short, even if you have a weird setup, just be sure to use any other tricks up your sleeve. Sure, not as optimal as direct damage but nothing wrong with softening up the other targets when you know Collector is going down. Thing to remember is that the Collector has surprisingly low resistances to almost everything, including bleeds, stuns and movement, so my PD would just wreck MAA-Head Guards and/or shuffle Collector to the front while Leper/Crusader spam AoE.

Ironically someone above mentioned how fighting them with the likes of Leper/Crusader was bad but that was exactly how I encountered my first ever Collector - and even then it was easy. Collector isn't all that bad, though I can see him getting in some unwanted digs inexperienced players and/or maybe causing a few unwanted concerns in higher difficulties - or, failing that, a random encounter when you're rocking funky setups.
